The Quenyese may be smaller in size when compared to the other races of Aeron, but don't let it fool you. Their hearts and bravery are the pinnacles of their species. They are sharp of mind, quick of wit, and short to temper. The peoples from Quenyi are avid story tellers, merchants and world explorers. The best way to make an ally with someone hailed from the country of Quenyi is to make a deal with them. Their stature ranges from 5-6 ft tall, weighing 100-170 lbs. Their hair and skin color can vary between light and dark. They wear flexible and durable leathers, so that they may mount their dragons at a moments notice. The Quenyese diet consists mostly of fruit and vegetables, with meat on special occasion or during ceremony. They frequently hold events and games to showcase their speed and prowess.
Quenyi are excellent chefs, utilizing unique and rare spices in their dishes. They can also use the herbs and foliage from their land to craft toxins, potions and elixirs. They have magically bonded with the dragons of the West, able to telepathically communicate with their beast, even if they are physically separated. A dragon can only bond to a Quenyese person once, but a Quenyese person can bond with many dragons over their lifetime. Because of this shared magical bond, the Quenyi people have extended lifetimes and may learn to develop other powers over time. Dragon eggs are laid once every 10 years, giving cause to great celebrations. A bond is formed when they are in embryo, as a Quenyese person need only caress the scales of the egg to awaken the latent power within. Then they must journey to Mountain End and lay their egg to molten fire for it to be hatched.
The beings of Selâ are humanoid in structure, standing at 5'7"-6'2" ft tall. They are on the lankier side, weighing 120-170lbs. Their skin color varies from ebony to olive, with rich chocolate or moon white hair. Their eyes can be any color. They have bonded deeply with the forest around Selâ and the most of the creatures within her. Almost every Selânite has an animal familiar, which they can share thoughts telepathically. Selânites are able to Warg into their familiar and see what they otherwise could not in their normal bodies. A very strong Selânite is able to communicate to more than one creature at a time, including plant life, to convey a message or plea for assistance.
They typically dress in light leather and furs, sometimes wearing enchanted mossy patches or bark as armor. The Selânites welcome all sorts of travelers, but they will always make sure to keep an eye on any suspicious individuals. The citizens of Selâ are very passionate about the balance of nature and have many altars dedicated to their land. Selânites are more reserved than the other races, preferring quests of knowledge and collective meditations than boisterous activity.
The Vedenyans are a jolly and simple race. Their original form is humanoid, threaded thickly with muscle, standing up to 8ft tall and weighing 500-600lbs. The color of their skin and hair varies between sandy blonde, rustic ginger, rich chocolate and deep black. The larger Vedenyans can grow thick wooly hair on their arms and legs. Their skin is hard and leathery, making it hard to penetrate with lesser weapons.Their typical style of dress inclue loincloths, or loose linen pants and shorts. They rarely wear shirts or shoes.
Vedenyans are expert climbers and will often scale trees for sport or recon. Many of the Vendenyan people build tree houses. Their diet consists of meat (plenty of it), fruit, tree sap and mushrooms. The people of Vedenya have no inherent magicial ability, but make up for it in brute strength and stamina. Although large in size they are peaceful and welcoming to travelers, taking care to escort their guests through perilous jungled territory. They are avid enjoyers of mead, music, dance, and strength competitions. The Daínish are a hardy, weatherworn race. Their original form is humanoid and densely built, with equal parts muscle and fat to fight off the biting cold of the north. They dress in thick leathers and wool. Their skin is hardened and porcelain in color, with hair color varying from white to gray to light blue. Their eyes are stormy grey, blue, or white. The Daínish bear can stand up to 10ft tall, weighing anywhere between 5,000-8,000 lbs. They are able to change forms at will. If they're wearing traditional leathers they will rip, leaving them exposed should they change back. The Daínish are wary of strangers, and slow to trust, but once you earn it you will have a stout ally. They remain stoic and steadfast during times of strife. The Daínish people are excellent crafters of Silver, fashioning weapons, armor and jewelry alike. Their diet consists of fat, meat and hearty vegetables. The Daíns do not use mounts and prefer to travel great distances in their bear form.
