Happy one month, Aëron Legacy! It has officially been four weeks since we have been open to RP, and things have been picking up the pace quickly. Plots are forming, storms are brewing, connections are being made. We’re proud of how far we’ve already come.

In celebration of being open for a month, we would like to introduce to you Random Encounters! This exciting feature brings an element of chaos and the unknown to the story. Now, you may encounter a sudden sandstorm in the desert, or hostile flora in the forest, or even encounter a creature that needs your help. This Random Encounter account will interact throughout a thread and enrich the environment of your scene, boosting your story and facilitating character growth and sudden adventures!

This is a voluntary feature. There are certain actions that can trigger a random event: entering the Allways, praying at a shrine, accepting a quest, or marking your thread as Random Encounter friendly (an [RE] tagged in the title). Not all of these will always guarantee a Random Encounter. To guarantee one, you must request one.

Random Encounters are going to be free to request only temporarily! You may request something specific or a surprise. But keep an eye out for a new point and shop system to earn epic in-character goodies. Random Encounters will be one of the things available in the shop, so take advantage of the freebies now!

A stormcloud is gathering just beyond the horizon. A figure has slipped into Quenyi, The Stranger, Har Sherburne. With a visit to the small town of Xuat, the reigning gang was terrorized. Did they really see this Stranger explode a man’s head? With magic? Couldn’t be.

Yet followers like Caedric Kazim are bowing in their fear, loyalties chosen.

Word of this stranger has spread even to Asher De Raye — who also happened to have chosen her loyalty. It is not to him, but to the old ways. After once discovering ancient texts depicting the old world, the natural order of things has become the clearest path.

There are others out there who would share her philosophy, and a fire could catch with the right wind. So long as someone struck the first spark into the grass...

But life goes on largely undisturbed, no one the wiser. The first winds have only just begun to stir, slipping by like any other forgotten breeze.

We still have seven open canon roles! To encourage new and old members alike to apply, we are again offering magic items! When you apply for the canon role and get your character accepted, you will be gifted a magic item to go with your new character.
